Donald Conrad, President
Since founding Conrad Capital Management in 1998, Mr. Conrad has been serving the needs of his clients by performing fee-based, unbiased financial and full service investment management services with the utmost professionalism, integrity and prudence. As President of the company, he spearheads investment policy at Conrad Capital Management.
In June of 2002 Mr. Conrad created CCM Partners, LP, a proprietary Hedge Fund of Funds acting as the General Partner through the parent company. Mr. Conrad started his career in 1981 at First Investors Corporation. After less than two years, he was recruited by E.F. Hutton Company, which eventually became the company formerly known as Shearson, Lehman, Hutton. As a Senior Vice President, he provided financial advice for high net worth individuals through the consulting service division. Subsequently, Mr. Conrad held the position of Senior Vice President during his four year tenure in the consumer retail division of PaineWebber.
Taundra A. Hurt, Director of Operations
Ms. Hurt is Director of Operations at Conrad Capital Management. She is responsible for the efficiency of client service, compliance, administration, and overall operations essential to keeping the firm running smoothly. As Director of Operations, Ms. Hurt is involved in the evaluation process of new business opportunities to help the firm identify new potential areas of growth. Prior to joining CCM, Ms. Hurt spent over twenty years at Morgan Stanley. While there, she served as Director and managed operations support for the Global and Private Wealth Management division, representing over 800,000 asset management customer accounts. Ms. Hurt was heavily involved in initiating and managing enhancements to systems, processes and working practices in order to achieve maximal operational efficiency. Ms. Hurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Delaware State University.
Amber Yang, Risk Management Specialist
Ms. Yang is responsible for monitoring and analyzing client portfolios, as well as the firm’s research projects. Ms. Yang has a genuine interest in financial risk management. She has passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Exams. Before joining Conrad Capital Management, Ms. Yang worked for European Union Chamber of Commerce and China Construction Bank. Ms. Yang holds a Master of Science degree in Quantitative Finance from Hofstra University. Prior to that, Ms. Yang also studied at UCLA and University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. Ms. Yang is a Broadway-show-goer, museum-lover, and enjoys long distance running (finished both Brooklyn Half Marathon and Staten Island Half within 2hr20min). The Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation is the most globally respected and widely recognized certification for financial risk management. It is a qualification for professionals, who are involved in analyzing, controlling, or assessing potential credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk as well as non-market related financial risks.
